Do you have to know to know anything about wine to join this club?

No, we encourage anyone to join the Society, from absolute beginners to wine master, everyone is welcome here!

Do I have to be over 18 to be a member?

Yes, the MWS operates in accordance with the government of Quebec’s laws in addition to further regulation set by McGill University

What kinds of events do you host?

We host a wide variety of wine related events, ranging from wine & cheese nights, winery tours, to wine apartment crawls.

Is it possible to partner up with the McGill Wine Society?

Yes! We encourage you and your club to reach out and partner up with the MWS for some awesome collaborations!

How does the ongoing global pandemic affect the MWS’s operations?

To comply with McGill and SSMU regulations on events in the upcoming fall semester, we are hosting online events, as in-person events are still prohibited on campus.

Is there a membership fee?
